FIJI SWIMMING AT THE 2019 FINA WORLD LC CHAMPS IN GWANGJU, KOREA

Fiji Swimming at the 18th FINA World Championships.

Fiji Swimming is proud to announce that we have sent a team of size to the 18th FINA World Championships in Gwangju, Korea. The team of six made up four Swimmers, one Coach, and one Team Manager include:

  • Moana Wind
  • Matelita Buadromo
  • Netani Ross
  • Taichi Vakasama
  • Mr Willie Elaisa (Coach)
  • Mrs Marlene Blake (Team Manager)

The team also departed with Fiji Swimming Head of Technical, Mrs Trisa Cheer-Dunn who will be part of the Technical Officials team at the championships.

The team just arrived into Nadi on Sunday morning from Apia after a spectacular performance at the Pacific Games, and departed our shores the day after on Monday 15th July for Gwangju Korea.

The team is settling in well and will begin competition on July 22nd. Fiji Swimming wishes all our swimmers all the very best of luck at the Championships.
