The team faced a lot of adversity in their build up towards the games; lockdowns, restriction of movements, inaccessibility to training venues. But they are still extremely optimistic about competing and performing well come the time.

Taichi Vakasama will be competing on the 27th of this month in the Men’s 200m Breaststroke while Cheyenne Rova, following a solid 3-week training stint in Australia, will be swimming in the Women’s 50m Freestyle on the 30th of this month as well.

The Fiji Swimming community wishes Sharon and her team all the very best in their final preparations.
